With Apple updating Keynote and including a new version that pushes people towards an apple creator studio subscription, it seems like Presenter no longer sees the original Keynote app version if you choose not to update. It's giving me an error message when trying to import keynote presentations saying it can't find the app. Please can you fix this, perhaps with an option for the user to manually locate the app in case of future Apple app disasters! Thanks.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the heads up on this. I will note this issue.
In the meantime, our testing shows that you can work past this issue through a few macOS tweaks to change the default app used to open Keynote files.
In Finder, locate a Keynote file. Right click and select "Get Info". In the file info pane, locate the "Open with" select and set the value to Keynote (v14.5). After selection click the "Change All..." button. These steps will inform macOS to use Keynote v14.5 anytime you open a Keynote file.
After making those changes, Presenter should now use the defaulted Keynote version to import your presentation file.
Hope this helps!
