Thumb nails for a service

Some of our services have a thumb nail image others do not. Why is this?

For my church's services, the thumbnail for the service is the same as the thumbnail for the first item in the service (which is the announcement slide set). I tried putting a couple of blank items before the announcements, and the thumbnail didn't change. If I put a non-blank item at the top, the thumbnail changes to the one for the new top item. Do your services without thumbnails have anything in them that could be used for a thumbnail? If so, how close is it to the beginning of the service? I think that info is key to your question.

There does not seem to be any difference in the services with or without a thumbnail as far as items re concerned. I am not really sure I know why there are thumbnails included anyway as they do nto seem to adda anything to the process.

The only place I see thumbnails for a service is on the first screen, where you choose what service you want to work with. The thumbnails are not essential, but they do make it easier to find the service I want. And they add some color to that screen. In a service, the individual items might or might not have thumbnails, which are show to the left of the item's name in the order of service on the left. Again, the thumbnails are not essential, but they help identify the items.
