Presenter Updates

May 30, 2026
Does Presenter do any type of automatic updates? I have my Laptop that I downloaded Presenter 2025 when we first started using it. I have since purchased a new Laptop for the Church and downloaded Presenter 2025 on it. They both used to look the same as far as the Menus and such as I set them both up. Now, the Presenter that is on the Church Laptop looks a little different than my first Laptop. It is a better Version and more user, but I'd like my Laptop to look and work the same if possible. How do I update my first Laptop?

Normally Presenter checks for updates when it starts. If an update is available, it asks if you'd like to update now. The latest version of Presenter 2025 is 2025.1.1, which was released June 26, 2025. You can check what version you have by clicking the gear in the upper right corner and choosing About Presenter. If it's an old version, I don't know why it wasn't automatically updated a long time ago, but you can download the latest Presenter 2025 at https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/presenter/legacy.

I just checked my Version of Presenter based on how you told me. It say that my Version is 2025.1.1

The biggest difference between my laptop, the first one, and the Church laptop, the second one, is when Uploading the Scriptures. On my laptop, I have to type the Book of the Bible, then the Chapter and Verses, then hit Search, the Launch. On the Church laptop, all of the Books of the Bible are already listed. You click it, then the Chapters and Verses are Dropdown Menus. After that, it's just hit Launch.

I'll check the Church's Version later tonight or in the morning. I do know that it's a 2025 because I had accidentally downloaded the 2026 Version and nothing that we had already done was on that Version if that makes sense.

Thanks for your help and time with this!!!

That's interesting. From what you say, the church computer probably has the latest 2025, too. Something to check is if the two computers have the same OS (Windows or Mac, and the same version for both) and if they're logged into the same Worship Tools account. Even then, there can be differences in how Presenter is set up on the two computers. I'm afraid I can't help much with displaying Bible text, as my church doesn't do that very much. Here is the documentation for Presenter 2025 https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/docs/116-scripture-slides. I hope this helps!

I was looking at this, and I think I found the difference; it's a simple setting where you choose the scripture. On your laptop, when you start to add scripture, instead of typing in the reference, click on the green "Select passage" under the scripture reference box. The display changes so you can select the book, etc. The next time you add scripture, this display is what you see. You can go back to the other display by clicking on "Type Passage", but only if you want to.

Yes, that did it. Thank you so much! We are relatively new to Presenter, but we love it. This will save me a lot of time during my Message Prep as I add the Verses at home, and they are ready for the Graphics Team on Sunday morning. Again, Thanks and have a blessed night!!!
