Hiding Slides within Songs

Pastor wants to use only verse 2 of 4 within a Song. When I hide rather than delete verse 1, the Title slide hides as well. When advancing from the previous slide and go into the Song with verse 1 hidden, it advances to verse 2 and never shows the Title slide on the audience screen. I can with my mouse click directly on the Title slide even though it went hidden and does project to the audience screen. What am I missing?

For starters, are you using the 2025 (legacy) version or the 2026 (new) version? If 2026, what exact version? And is the computer you're using Windows, Mac, or Linux?

I'm puzzled at what you mean by "hiding" a song slide. While announcement slides can be hidden, I don't find that term used about song slides. In both versions, you can make an alternate verse order. In the legacy version, you can make changes to the verse order just for that occurrence of the song. It appears that you can do something similar in the new version, though it is done differently.
