We are new to using Planning & Charts so still learning.
We have found that when entering songs into planning, any changes made to the set list in an individuals charts app affects what is in planning.
Is this only the case for those who have permission for both?
We have had a few times recently where the set list is entered initially into Planning with the correct keys but later they are changed. Just wondered if someone changing the music/lyrics in Charts could have done this?
Is there a way of restricting changes made in Charts effecting the list in Planning?

When you add songs in Planning, they’re linked to the same library used in Charts. That means if someone edits a song in Charts (lyrics, chords, or key), those changes show up in Planning too.
- Only users with edit permissions can make changes that sync across both apps.
- If keys or lyrics shift after you’ve set a plan, it’s likely someone with edit rights updated the song in Charts.
- To prevent this, adjust user permissions so most team members have view-only access. Reserve editing rights for leaders who manage the library.
This way, Planning stays accurate while Charts remains a rehearsal tool.
