Add option for volunteer to request replacement from other team members without going through leader

Is it possible to please add an option where if a volunteer is cancelling at the last minute they can automatically send out a message to the rest of the team to see if someone can cover for them? We wouldn't want it to be available to everyone, but for welcome, cafe teams etc it would save a lot of the back and forth.
