New version - fading lyrics

We have downloaded the new version of Presenter to 2 different Macs - one in the sanctuary and one in the youth room. Both settings seems to be identical. We want the lyrics to fade between slides rather than flashing/jumping. What setting are we missing? On the service settings, we have both default transition times to 1.0 second and if you are moving from slide to slide or item to item within the service it fades those but I'm specifically talking about when within a song and the background is the same and you're going from slide to slide, the lyrics on the sanctuary machine are flashing rather than fading into the next. The youth room version does fade like we'd like. Please advise, thanks!

It sounds like your global/default transition settings are already configured correctly, since you're seeing smooth fades when moving between service items and on the youth room machine.
For the sanctuary Mac, I'd recommend checking the transition time setting on the specific song/service item that's exhibiting the issue. Individual service items can have their own transition settings that override the default service settings. If that transition time is set to 0 seconds (or another value different from the default), the lyrics may appear to flash or jump between slides instead of fading.

Select the song/service item that's having the issue.
Open the item's settings/properties.
Look for the Transition Time setting for that specific item.
Make sure it's set to 1.0 second (or set to use the default transition setting).

Since the youth room system is fading correctly with the same overall settings, this behavior strongly suggests an item-level transition setting is overriding the default on the sanctuary machine.

It's happening to any and all songs on the sanctuary version, it's not an individual song. If I do go to edit an individual song, I can update the transition time. It was set to 0.0. Can that be a default setting somewhere so I can change them all to 0.5 and not have to go to each item?
