Regional date formats

We are just starting to look at Community. Looks great!

We see that dates are displayed in US format (mm/dd/yyyy). Is there any way to change the display format to dd/mm/yyyy or even the less ambiguous yyyy-mm-dd?

Interestingly, Edit Person asks me for dates as dd/mm/yyyy: for example entered as 31/12/2025 but then displays it as 12/31/2025.

We are in Australia - Windows Settings, Region: Australia, Regional format: English (Australia), and using Google Chrome browser.

I found the answer. The solution is in Google Chrome Language settings.

Chrome > Settings > Languages
> Add languages
enable: English (Australia)
for English (Australia)
> Move to top
enable: Display Google Chrome in this language

Dates are now consistently displayed in dd/mm/yyyy format.
