Presenter not recognising HDMI sender / receiver unit

Hi there,
Our church uses a hdmi sender reciever unit to allow the laptop to run with the mixer desk at the back of church and sends picture output to the projector at the front.
It would appear that presenter needs a physcial hdmi connection from laptop to projector to recognise the projector as a display? We are trying the free version of worship tools.
Is there a work around for this or do we need to upgrade to pro version? Many thanks.

Work around was simply to extend the screen.
