To test the Beta version of Presenter, I installed it on computers that have not had the legacy version of Presenter. I noticed a problem with slides; that were created a while ago did not display properly on the screen. The text displayed properly but media was not there. I thought it was a bug in Presenter 2026.
But I have tracked down what is going wrong. It is still an error, but is very different.
Simply, the installation process does not download the media library stored in the cloud down to the local computer. I have discovered it is possible to download individual files by finding the thumbnail in the media library and selecting the download button. But this is not a viable solution for several Gb of media files of different sorts.
Put simply,. please either automatically install the media library at installation time or offer the option to install it later.
