I get the latest Linux download from the ChangeLog site (https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/presenter/download/change-log). Each release has a link to download that version for Linux.
Presenter 2026 Linux?
The Linux version for 2026.1.0 works properly on Linux mint 22.3 providing you have a 1080p display. When opening it on a 1366 x 768 display it opens on the second screen and I have to end up clicking on the window in panel pressing Alt+F7 and dragging it to the primary window.It does not do this in a wayland session. However in both sessions I cannot maximise the window. Its got something to do with the QT6 framework which was used to develop this app and its primary use of wayland. They just need to fix the xwayland issues and it will be all good. Other than that I works fine on our Dell AIO with 1080p display that is used for streaming even with 2 displays connected.
We use Gear lever to integrate out app into our menu. It has worked great for a while now.
Hi - thanks for supporting Linux. I'm having a problem since upgraded to Ubuntu 26.04. Installed latest Appimage of Presenter (2026.1.9). When I launch it, and hit Log In, it tries to authenticate then bounces back and tries to find an app in the App Center rather than going to the running AppImage. I understand this is something to do with this version of Ubuntu desktop.
Any ideas how to fix?

Hey Rob,
I fought with that a while, and had intended to post the solution:
Create or edit /home/[username]/.local/share/applications/Presenter.desktop
The contents should look like this:
[Desktop Entry]
Categories=AudioVideo;
Comment=Church Presentation Software
Exec=/home/riverrising/Presenter/Presenter-2026.1.8.appimage --no-sandbox %U
Icon=/usr/share/icons/presenter_icon.svg
MimeType=x-scheme-handler/presenter;
Name=Presenter 2026
NoDisplay=false
Path=
PrefersNonDefaultGPU=false
StartupNotify=true
StartupWMClass=Presenter
Terminal=false
TerminalOptions=
Type=Application
X-AppImage-Name=Presenter
X-AppImage-Version=2026.1.8.32
X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false
X-KDE-Username=
After saving the file, reboot, or log out and log back in, and it should get the redirect to and from the browser during login.
Note: we run Kubuntu, so some of those options may not be required.
Thanks,
David
