API access?

June 10, 2026
My church is contemplating switching to WorshipTools for managing memberships and other things. It looks like a great product!

One problem we face is attendance recording for health & safety reasons - e.g. who attended the youth group meeting on thursday evening. I have not found much in this space, and am thinking about building a small tool for this, but it would be really nice if the list of people could be sourced from the same place as regular church memberships (that would potentially be WorshipTools).

I've looked at the HTTP traffic when browsing around the site, and it looks like there's a fairly standard HTTP/JSON API. Is this OK to integrate with? I didn't see anything in the terms of service about API access or acceptable use or things like that.

Thanks!

P.S. I understand that providing API access to third party integrators is potentially problematic. There is a cost to you, to keep API's stable over time, document them, provide authentication/etc. I'm not asking for that, I would be happy to accept and deal with unnanounced breaking API changes, and I can manage logging in the same way as a web browser would.
