No main audience output

I am using Presenter Free on Ubuntu 24.04.3, and the main audience output is not showing. In settings, it is shown as a possible output and i can select it, but nothing is shown. any help is much appreciated!

The issue you’re seeing isn’t with Presenter itself but with how Ubuntu is handling your display setup. Even though “Main Audience Output” appears in Presenter, it won’t show content unless your projector or second monitor is configured as an extended display in Ubuntu.
Here are the steps we recommend:
- Open Settings → Displays in Ubuntu.
- Make sure your projector/monitor is set to Extend (not Mirror).
- Arrange the displays so your main screen is primary and the projector is secondary.
- Restart Presenter and re‑assign “Main Audience Output” to the external display.
- If nothing appears, try adjusting the projector resolution to 1920x1080 or switching your Ubuntu session from Wayland to X11 for better compatibility.
